All supplements are not the same and some must be taken on an empty stomach so that they get properly absorbed

Dietary supplements for many people are among the best ways to improve overall health and reduce the risk of many health conditions. Doctors often recommend dietary supplements for those who have certain health issues, are at risk of certain conditions, or have a lack of nutrients in their diets. But that doesn’t mean you can either take them without a prescription or at any time of the day.
According to experts, they can have side effects and risks, including organ and nerve damage.
Doctors say all supplements are not the sam and some must be taken on an empty stomach so that they get properly absorbed, while a few others should be consumed with meals. Consuming the right amounts in the morning, particularly on an empty stomach, can deeply enhance their benefits.
Here are a few of these you must take in the morning before eating for the best results.

Probiotics

Probiotics contain live microorganisms that enhance your gut health. They provide numerous benefits because they contain live bacteria or yeast.
According to experts, it is recommended to take this supplement on an empty stomach. Even though it is difficult to measure bacteria viability in humans, research suggests that bacterium Lactobacillus and Bifidobacterium survive best when taken up to 30 minutes before a meal. However, consistency is also more important than whether you take your probiotic, which leads to positive changes in the gut microbiome.
You can take probiotics in various forms, including capsules, lozenges, beads, powders, and drops.

Vitamin C

Vitamin C is a water-soluble essential vitamin that your body cannot produce on its own. The recommended daily intake for vitamin C is 75 mg for women and 90 mg for men.
It reduces your risk of chronic illnesses, enhances the immune system, promotes healthy skin, and helps in iron absorption. It is absorbed better on an empty stomach, so you must consume it right after waking up in the morning. Taking vitamin C with a glass of water improves absorption and allows you to receive its full benefits.

B vitamins

B vitamins are recommended in the morning hours because they help with energy and metabolism. However, you can take B vitamins at any time of day because they are water-soluble. It is also better to avoid taking B6 at night because it may cause vivid dreams.
However, if B complex upsets your stomach, you can try taking it with a meal.

Iron supplements

Iron is extremely important for red blood cell manufacture and oxygen transportation in your body. According to doctors, it should be taken on an empty stomach, as food, particularly dairy and caffeine, can interfere with its absorption.
Taking iron supplements in the morning along with vitamin C can enhance its efficacy even more.

Magnesium citrate

Magnesium citrate softens the stool and relieves constipation and irregularity. It is gentler than some of the other magnesium compounds and helps regulate digestion, muscle function, nerve impulse transmission, and relaxation.
According to experts, it gets easily absorbed when taken in the morning on an empty stomach.
