How Do Lifestyle And Poor Work-life Balance Impact Natural Conception?

Chronic stress: Stress is one of the biggest factors that can negatively affect one’s fertility, both in men and women. Taking too much stress can increase the production of cortisol, a hormone that is known to disrupt your reproductive hormones. In men, it can lower their sperm quality and count, whereas it can lead to irregular ovulation in women.
Lack of exercise affects fertility: Sitting for extended periods in one place can easily lead to excessive weight gain along with poor blood circulation. It can highly impact your reproductive health. Excess weight gain can cause hormonal imbalance and irregular ovulation in women. This is why it becomes necessary to stay active by engaging in physical activities.
Unhealthy eating habits: Your eating habits have a significant impact on your reproductive health. Eating a diet that is high in processed foods, sugar, preservatives, and healthy fats can interfere with your hormones. Deficiencies of essential nutrients like Vitamin D or iron in your body can affect the quality of sperm and egg.
Delayed family planning: Couples these days like to plan their pregnancies while considering various factors like age, career, or financial stability. People need to understand that fertility starts to decline with age, especially in women. The quality and quantity of eggs in women decreases by the mid-30s, making it challenging to conceive naturally. Men may also experience reduced sperm quality after a certain age. Early family planning can help improve the chances.
